4) What should I do on arrival at the MIECC?
Though the entry to the Hall and Darshan from Amma is free of charge, you have to first go to the Token Counter to get personal Tokens individually.
- |
|
-
5) What are Tokens?
Tokens are cards printed with a specific range of numbers for e.g., “A(1-100)”. This indicates that your turn to receive Darshan from Amma falls within the range of 1- 100 within the “A” grouping. Please note that this is just an example and by no means conclusive as the Token system is determined by Amma.
There will be no prior bookings accepted for Tokens. Tokens must be collected at the Token Counter on the day you wish to have Darshan. Each individual must collect a Token for himself/herself.
Each Token only entitles one person for entry. Children and babies must have their own Tokens.
Tokens are only valid on the day it is issued for e.g., Tokens issued on 31st of March are valid for only that day and not 1st of April. Tokens issued on different days cannot be used interchangeably.
If for some reason, you have to leave the venue after having collected your Token, please note that you must be back before the range of numbers stated on your Token are flashed on the electronic board. Further, as all entrances to the venue will be closed by 4 a.m. , please ensure that you are back in the venue before that, even if your turn to receive Darshan is estimated to be after 4 a.m.

7) What is Darshan?
Darshan is the BLESSINGS of the SPIRITUALLY EVOLVED person through sight, sound or personal contact through touch. In Amma’s case, - She can be seen and heard through Her talks, bhajans and hyms sung and contact – when She hugs you.
After the bhajans, when Darshan commences, your turn to be in the Darshan line will be indicated when the range of Token numbers stated on your Token are displayed on the electronic boards strategically placed in the Hall.
When you are standing in the Darshan queue, please follow all instructions given by the line monitors. There should be no pushing or rushing forward. Be in your row and approach Amma when it is your turn. Always approach and leave Amma in an orderly manner and follow all instructions given by the line monitors.
As this is a serious spiritual function one must take care to dress appropriately, ensuring that your outfit is comfortable and not too loud in its colours. As Amma will be hugging you, please refrain from wearing excessive jewelries. Face make-up should be used sparingly.
After receiving Darshan please follow the queue and leave the Hall by the designated exit door. Please do not congregate at the exit door. If you have to wait for your friends or family members, please wait in the foyer.
