On 31 December 2007, devotees gathered for New Year’s Eve prayers at the PAM Centre. Besides archana and bhajans, those present also chanted “Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu” 108 times as a prayer for world peace. Arati was performed at the stroke of midnight to welcome the new year with our beloved Amma. |

Sw. Amritageetananda Puri met up with devotees in Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and Bukit Mertajam during his visit to Malaysia from 23 October to 6 November 2007. He gave several spiritual talks entitled, “On The Road To Freedom” as well as “Form To Formless”. Sw. Geetananda also visited the homes of devotees and conducted satsang at the PAM Centre. |

The public programme for Amma’s 54th birthday celebrations was held on 29 September 2007 at the Sithi Vinayagar Temple in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. More than 200 people joined the festivities, including 80 underprivileged children and single mothers. The guest of honour for the evening was Swami Kumarananda Giri from Rishikesh. |

Amma’s 54th birthday prayers were held on 27 September 2007 at the PAM Centre. Over 150 people attended the evening’s programme, which included Guru Paduka puja, bhajans and refreshments prepared by devotees. |

Prasannan Herke, an astrologer from Amma’s ashram visited Kuala Lumpur from 18 to 27 August 2007. Besides conducting one-to-one vedic astrological consultations, he also gave a public lecture on “How to Apply Jyotish in Making Better Business Decisions” at Auditorium KR Soma, Kuala Lumpur on 19 August 2007. |

Guru Purnima celebrations were held on 29 July 2007 at the PAM Centre. Guru Paduka puja was performed along with the chanting of Amma’s 108 names. This was followed by bhajans and light refreshments. |

Dr. Kalpana Sampath from Arpitha Associates, Banglore, India, conducted a workshop at the PAM Centre on 18 June 2007. The talk was entitled “Issues of Parenting”, and was well-attended by householder devotees and their families. |

PAM’s Youth Section was launched on 8 April 2007 at the Pure Life Society’s Community Project Centre Hall, Jalan Puchong, Kuala Lumpur. After a welcome address by PAM President, Dr. Sukumaran, a presentation on volunteerism was given by Dr. Krishnamurthy and Mr. Segaran. This was followed by a discussion on seva and a brainstorming session. |

Swami Amritageetananda Puri, one of the senior monastic disciples of Amma, was in Malaysia from 6-12 Oct 2006 to give satsangs and spiritual discourses and conduct Amma's 53rd birthday celebrations. On 6 th Oct 2006 evening, Swamiji delivered a spiritual discourse entitled “Necessity of a Living Master” to about 100 devotees in Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang. The following evening Swamiji conducted Amma's birthday celebrations at the Ramakrishna Ashrama Hall, Penang. The programme included a yajna for Amma's well being, a blood donation and organ pledging drive, lunch for 150 “special children” from various homes, distribution of walking sticks and wheelchairs, and cash contributions to needy homes. On 8 th Oct 2006, swamiji conducted Amma's official birthday programme at the Sri Sithi Vinagar Temple hall, Petaling Jaya. The programme, attended by over 300 people, included distribution of gifts to 40 under-privileged children and 15 single mothers. For the rest of the visit, Swamiji presented spiritual discourses at Amma Centre in Kuala Lumpur and the Buddhist Wisdom Centre in Petaling Jaya. The topics included “Necessity of a Living Master”, “Meditation - Form to Formless” and “Unknown Factors Which Contribute to Success”. |

The bhajan team participated in a Musical programme held in the Berjaya Time Square on the 24 th Floor on 9th July 2006 between 9.00 am and 12 pm. There were many other groups from other Spiritual Organizations participating. |

On 10th Jully 2006, Guru Purnima was celebrated by having special prayers at the Centre. Pada Puja was conducted and all devotees got the opportunity to perform pada puja to Amma's paduka. The Prasad was later distributed to all present. The participation in Guru Purnima celebration was overwhelming. |

Amma visited Malaysia in April 2006 and held 2 evening programmes in the Mines on April 22 nd and 23 rd . The programme received very good publicity from the print and electronic media and was also very organized. The organizing committee received compliments from Amma Herself. Amma and Her entourage of 30 were hosted on the first night (April 21 st ) in Y. Bhg Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Mohan Swami's residence and thereafter in Mines Resort Hotel. About 43,000 people came to receive Amma's blessings for both the days. |

Swamiji visited Malaysia from January 14 to 22 nd 2006. He conducted Satsang programmes in Penang, Butterworth, Ipoh, Seremban, Klang and Petaling Jaya. Due to the publicity in the press, the responses in the northern states were excellent. He also conducted Satsang in the Centre. He also had a close door meeting with PAM Council Members and later he addressed other members of the society. He briefed everyone about the Amriteswari Foundation of Malaysia (which is now registered) and also informed that the foundation will in the future sponsor and co-organize all Amma's and Swamiji's visits to Malaysia in conjunction with PAM. Swamiji also announced that Amma has appointed him as a trustee, representing MA Math in Amritapuri. More trustees many be appointed by Amma, if She decides so, said Swamiji. |

Special Prayers were held in the Centre on September 27 th 2005 at 8.00 pm to mark the actual birth date of Amma. Even though it was a week-day, many devotees turned up for the function. The youth devotees of PAM in Penang and in Klang Valley also organized the above functions and many people participated in Penang on October 1 st 2005 and Petaling Jaya on October 2 nd 2005. Swami Brahmananda Saraswathi of Dhyana Ashram in Kulim graced the function with a Spiritual Discourse in Penang. In Petaling Jaya, Swami Guhabhakthananda Saraswathi of Divine Life Society and Swami Sivachidananda Saraswathi from Rishikesh, India graced celebration with the latter giving Spiritual Discourse. |

visited Malaysia from June 29 th to July 11 th 2005 conducting Satsang programmes in Johor Bahru, Seremban, Puchong and Petaling Jaya. He also conducted IAM Course in Kuala Lumpur which was well attended. He was accompanied by 2 Singaporeans devotees and Brahmanchari Satish from Ashram. |

that can foster better relationship among devotees. Among houses hosted the bhajans were from Puchong (13 Feb), Taman Yarl (23 April) and two more in Seremban (Apr- May). Apart from devotees, surrounding community also participated in the prayers. |

Amriteswari Society Bhajan team participated in the Musical Offerings in Aid of Tsunami Victims, organized by Sukhi Hotu. It was held at the Malaysian Tourism Centre in Kuala Lumpur on January 16, 2005 . Proceeds and donations collected were forwarded to the relevant relief agencies responsible for bringing aid to affected areas in Aceh , Indonesia and Sri Lanka. |

Chinese New Year prayers was specially organised in the Center to welcome the year of the Rooster. Many Chinese devotees participated in the celebration and special Chinese delicacies topped the potluck menu from devotees. |

New Year Prayers was conducted in the Center to welcome the New Year. This year prayer was dedicated to the Tsunami victims of December 26 th . Amma's words captures the mood of the day, "We cannot rejoice at this moment, and this is not a time to rejoice. This is a time to invoke love and compassion in our hearts". Amma just wants us "to pray with our hearts and work with our hands". |

Christmas Prayers was organised in the Center together with our Christian brothers and sisters. It is also a day to remember the teachings of Christ and to appreciate the universal value of spiritual teachings. The prayers ended with potluck lunch from devotees. |

Deepavali Celebration at Centre was organised to bring together our multi-ethnic devotees. The celebration began with prayers followed by Vilaku pooja and satsang. The celebration ended around late afternoon. |

Bramachari Shantamrita Chaitanya conducted IAM Technique at Butterworth. Despite heavy downpour, most devotees who registered attended the session. The presence of new devotees were evident. |

Amma's 51st Amma's Birthday Celebration was celebrated on the 2nd October 2004 at Sri Sithi Vinayagar Temple , Petaling Jaya. This year was especially auspicious as the date of celebration coincided with Amma's birth star. Bramachari Shantamrita Chaitanya led Paduka Puja and Bhagavathi Seva. All devotees had the chance to participate in the puja and received prasad. Commemorating Amma's 51st Birthday, 51 needy UPSR children were given complete schoolbooks free. |

International Peace Day Prayers inspired by the United Nations, received full support from Amma. Amma's organisations throughout the world observed the call for one-minute silent prayer on this day. Amma's words to Her children is, “No matter where you are on that day at 12 noon-whether you are at home, in the office, in the bathroom, the market, the shopping center-irrespective of your faith and religion, stop what you are doing, close your eyes and pray one minute for world peace.” Following Amma's advise, devotees gathered in the Center and observed silence for one minute, followed by usual prayers. Another session was held in the evening for those who could not make it in the afternoon. |
